♥ Freeze Frame - CSI 313 - Lady Pattern

Hello there crafty friends.  I am a bit late in sharing the page I made for the mid month reveal over on Color Story Inspiration.   I do love to use a wreath design and that is what I opted for with this challenge.  I used an older photo of Kobus and me taken way back in 2011.  Here it is:

Supply list:  Patterned paper:  Lady Pattern Basic Essentials, Felicity Jane Basics; Cardstock;  American Craft, Watercolour paper; Chipboard:  Dusty Attic (Foliage #15, Spider Crysanthemum, Mini Captions); Flowers:  Petaloo; Puffy Scallops:  Elle's Studio; Enamel dots: Nuvo Crystal Drops (Red Berry); Ink:  Lindy's Squirts (Poutine Gold, Emerald eh?!); Embossing Powder: Nuvo (Glacier White), Lindy's: Terra Cotta Rust, Reindeer Moss Green, Oakleaf Olive); Dies: Prima, Lawn Fawn; Other Silhouette Cameo cut file.

The case file:
This is how I solved the case:

The Scheme:   All 5 colours used.

Evidence:  Dots, stripes, scallops, hearts, leaves, flowers, something curly or swirly.

Testimony:  I don't know if it counts...but I added hearts to my title.

Some close ups:

I started my page by using water colour paper and using the Lindy's Squirts to add a mixed media circle behind the wreath.  I mixed Poutine Gold and Emerald Eh?! to get the right colour.  The chipboard leaves and Spider Chrysanthemum was heat embossed.

I cut the wreath cut file from white American Craft Card stock.

I cut apart a few sheets of Lady Pattern Paper Basic Essential Hello Cards Green Chartreuse paper and die cut leaves with Prima and Lawn Fawn leaf dies.  I bent the leaves and added it to the wreath.I then toned the green down with white gesso and added splatter with Distress Spray Stain in Picket Fence.

I added a few patterned paper layers behind my photo and added the Elle's Studio Puffy hearts and scallop.  The Title was heat embossed.

I love all the dimension on this page.

Thank you for visiting my blog today.  I hope you are inspired to create and play along with us at Color Story Inspiration.
