7 Today - CSI 300 - Teresa Collins (Daily Stories)

Hello my friends.  Yesterday was reveal  day for Case File no 300 over on  Color Story Inspiration. The colour scheme of the case file had me grabbing for a much older collection by Teresa Collins.  I can never bring myself to destash the pretty collections by Teresa Collins.  I documented my grand daughter, Leane's 7th birthday party.

Supply list:  Patterned paper:  Teresa Collins (Daily Stories), Crate Paper (black and white); Cardstock:  Bo Bunny Double Dot; Wood Veneer:  Heidi Swapp; Chipboard:  Teresa Collins; Enamel dots:  Echo Park, Teresa Collins; Stickers/Ephemera:  Teresa Collins; Embroidery Floss:  DMC; Ink:  Distress Ink (Rusty Hinge); Embossing Powder: Nuvo; Border Punch":  EK Success;  Label stamp:  Altenew;  Other: Silhouette Cameo.

The case file:

Some close ups:
The wall of phrases on the case file image was the inspiration for the clouds.  I cut it with the Silhouette Cameo from a Crate Paper (Hello Love) paper and then I cut it again from vellum.  I stitched the two layers together to soften the look.

I cut the sunburst from Bo Bunny Double Dot card stock and then darkened it with Rusty Hinge Distress Ink.

The flowers were fussy cut from one of the patterned papers.  I stamped and die cut the labels.

The pink layer behind the photo was border punched with a spiral punch and the title was heat embossed.

Thank you for visiting my blog today.  Please come and play along with the CSI detectives.  There is some awesome prizes up for grabs.

  1. ooo such a lovely layout, great photos and love the colors.. The stitching always looks good.. great sketch too.. yes I have a few papers I havent cut into yet... but I am thinking they would look better on a page than stuck in a drawer where no one will see them!!!
