Kalkbay Harbour - Art from the Heart (Savannah)

Hello there.  I am sharing another page created with the beautiful Art from the Heart Savannah collection.  While we were in Cape Town recently we did the scenic route from Muizenberg to Cape Point and we lingered in all the beautiful places and captured moments.

Supply list:  Patterned papers:  Art from the Heart (Savannah), Bazzil basics; Cardstock:  American Craft, Bo Bunny; Letter Stickers:  Elle's Studio; Wood Veneer:  Elle's Studio, Studio Calico; Flair: Felicity Jane; Embroidery Floss:  DMC; Ink:  Distress Ink (Rusty Hinge); Stencil: Tim Holtz; Border Punches:  Martha Stewart, EK Success; Dies:  Quickutz; Other:  Silhouette Cameo.

Some close ups:
I matted all my photos on dark brown cardstock.  I added some flags to the side of the page and added some die cut and wood veneer stars.

I love how vibrant the papers are with these photos.  I also dusted off a few of my border punches and used punched strips for added texture.

I added some phrases cut from the cut apart sheet.

I added some hand stitching to the large star and the circle elements.

The large star was the perfect spot for the page title.

I had to add the photo of Kobus pinching his nose while standing between the drying snoek.

I always love to use stars on more masculine pages.

Thank you for visiting my blog today.♥
