Cozy - CSI #272 - Paige Evans (Turn the Page)

Hello there my friends.  Debbi, the owner of Color Story Inspiration have asked me some time ago to be one of her "detectives" on the design team.  This year it just feels right and I am proud to now be on the design team.  I really do hope that you will join in these lovely challenges and play along.  You will be challenged to look at your stash in a different way and you can win some really great pages.  Here is my first page as a detective :-)

Supply list:  Patterned paper:  Paige Evans (Turn the Page), Lady Pattern Paper; Cardstock:  American Craft; Letter Stickers:  Hip Kit exclusives; Wood veneer:  Paige Evans (Turn the Page); Chipboard:  Paige Evans (Turn the Page);  Bling:  Crystal stickers; Puffy stickers: Paige Evans (Turn the Page); Enamel dots: Carta Bella; Die Cuts:  Paige Evans (Turn the Page); Embroidery Floss:  DMC; Mist:  Distress Stain (Picket Fence); Dies:  Find It Media (snowflakes), Border punch: Ek Success; Other:  Trim and a charm from my stash.

The challenge:

How I solved the case:

Scheme:  Used colours that are close to the ones in the color scheme.

Evidence:   Plaid, stripes, dots, border, winter elements, woodland creatures and birds, string, splatter, wood, metal.

Testimony:  I documented something about winer and used the inspiration word "cozy" as my title.

I used this sketch as a guideline:

Some close ups:
I love the patch work effect of the blocks with it's hand stitching.

It was fun to choose little elements that will go well with the theme of the page.

The trims I used on this page has probably been in my stash for more than 10 years.

I die cut the snowflakes and I found this cute little squirrel in my stash.

Thank you for visiting my blog today!   Please come and play along with this challenge.  You do not need a blog as you can post your layout to the Facebook group.
