Fabulous Zinzi - Felicity Jane (Brooke) - CSI265

Hello my crafty friends.  With the Secret Event Road trip, our annual vacation and then the Scrapbook Studio Retreat keeping me relatively busy, I haven't played along with the Color Story Inspiration challenges for quite some time.  So...when I saw the latest case file, I knew that I wanted to play along.  Here is my page based on the challenge:
Supply list:  Patterned paper:  Felicity Jane (Brooke), with single pieces from the Alexis and Jeana collections; Cardstock:  American Craft; Letter Stickers:  American Craft (Happy); Chipboard:  Title - Blue Fern Studio, Leaves - Dusty Attic; Flowers:  Prima; Rubber hearts:  Felicity Jane, Die cuts: Felicity Jane Brooke; Embroidery Floss: DMC; Ink: Distress Ink (Tattered Rose),  13Arts Iridescent white glitter; Stencil: Prima; Embossing powder: WOW, Lindy's Gang; Border Punch: Xcut; Other:  Sisal.

The sketch by Pagemaps that I used for inspiration:

The beautiful inspiration board for the Case file:

This is how I solved the Case File:

The Scheme:  All 5 colours used.

Evidence:   Stripes, Frame (around photo), flowers, Something transparent (13Arts iridescent ink), something shiny, glitter (title).

Testimony:  I used the word "Fabulous" as part of my title.  My journaling is a Mother Teresa quote:  "We need to find God, and he cannot be found in noise and restlessness. God is the friend of silence. See how nature – trees, flowers, grass – grows in silence; see the stars, the moon and the sun, how they move in silence… We need silence to be able to touch souls."  -  Mother Teresa

Some close ups:
I applied some 13Arts Iridescent white glitter to the pink flowers.

I used a chipboard title "fabulous"  as part of my title,  to add the glitter evidence I teamed it with small gold glitter thickers.

I heat embossed the Dusty Attic chipboard with Lindy's gang embossing powder.

I have to admit that the Felicity Jane kits are just so pretty that I tend to hoard instead of getting it on pages.

Here you can see the dimension and the shiny bits.

Thank you for visiting my blog today, be inspired to get some scrap therapy♥♥

  2. A stunning layout! I adore how you've used the colours! That floral paper is incredibly beautiful - and I love how you've brought it all together with the addition of flowers and the stenciled background!
