Summer Lovin - CSI #257 - Felicity Jane Zoey

Hallo my crafty friends.  I am sharing a page that I made for the latest Color Story Inspiration case file.  The Felicity Jane Zoey kit was perfect as it fit the colour scheme perfectly.  I used a photo of taken of me and Kobus during our summer vacation in Umhlanga Rocks in March this year.

Supply list:  Patterned paper:  Felicity Jane (Zoey); Cardstock:  American Craft; Wood veneer glasses: Jillibean Soup; Chipboard Title:  Celebr8; Puffy hearts/dots: Felicity Jane; Enamel dots: My Minds Eye, Hip Kit exclusives; Die cuts:  Felicity Jane Zoey;  Embossing Powder: Lindy's Gang; Punch:  Ek Success; Stamp:  Felicity Jane Sophie.

A page map used for inspiration:

The case file:

This is how I solved the case file:

The Scheme:  All 5 colours used.

Evidence:  Floral pattern, stripes, wood, flowers, glasses, black and white pattern, string.

Testimony:  I documented something about summer. My title is "Summer Lovin".  My jurnaling is about how much I love escaping to the warm and balmy weather of Kwazulu Natal."

The florals were cut from an older Felicity Jane paper.  I wish I had a hundred of these sheets.

I made a nest for my title using the different patterned papers.  I heat embossed the chipboard title with a darker teal colour.

I have now collected so many clear stamps that I challenge myself to use them on my pages.

The rubber "love this life" is also from an older Felicity Jane kit.

I added the two tiny tags with string and completed the corner with some more stamping.

Thank you for visiting my blog today....I really hope you are inspired to join into this challenge ♥♥

  4. You've nailed this one, Lynette. I am always struck by the clear and neat lines of all your layouts - I find them very striking. On this piece, I particularly love those roses - cutouts / diecuts? Beautiful work!
