Brown Eyed Girl - July Sketchabilities - Prima Seashore - Stash busting #2

Hallo there crafty friends.  It is reveal time over at Sketchabilities.   I am currently on a stash busting challenge that I set for myself.  Reality is that we tend to hoard our stash in the effort to keep up to date with the latest goodies out there. The older goodies are still too beautiful to purge but guilt is getting to me when I start looking at the latest collections and realize that I have collections that I haven't even touched yet.  So I dug into the older Prima Seashore collection for this page and teamed it with some newer Prima flowers, chipboard and crystals.  The photos I used were taken way back in January 2015 on an outing to the Sundays River.  Leane were playing in the mud on the river bank and built a Mud Olaf.

Supply list:  Patterned paper:  Prima Seashore; Cardstock:  American Craft; Chipboard:  Blue Fern Studio, Dusty Attic; Bling:  Prima say it in crystals; Flowers: Prima, Little Birdie; Resins: Prima; Tags:  Prima; Ink:  Distress Oxide (Worn Lipstick); Stencils:  Crafters Workshop, Celebr8 (dandelions); Mediums:  Finnabair light paste, Wow embossing powder; Border Punch:  Martha Steward; Dies: Boskut leaves; Other:  Doily and sisal from my stash.

Karan's lovely sketch:
 Some close ups:
There is some paper tearing in the layers, some corrugated cardboard and lots of other texture.  I heat embossed the title.

I love the cool affect of the torn papers, border strips and texture paste.

Making the older papers "fresh" by teaming it with newer Prima flowers.  Extra texture added with a nest of sisal.

Prima resin shells and real shells added into the clusters.

I don't know about you...but we all seem to have stencils that have been forgotten.  It was fun to actually use them again.

I love the delicate Dusty Attic chippies.  The dandelion sprig was also dressed with white heat embossing.

Thank you for visiting my blog today.  Please play along with this month's sketch ♥♥
