Beach - CSI 258 - Lady Pattern Paper

Hallo my crafty friends.  Yesterday I played along with Color Story Inspiration #258.  As I previously said, I am trying to make a dent in my stash.  The colours of this case file was perfect for me to use the gorgeous basic papers from Lady Pattern Paper.    I scrapped a photo of us walking on Sardinia Bay beach a few years ago... this beach can only be reached with difficulty and a hike over a very high dune...but it will always be my favourite beach in Port Elizabeth.  Here is my page:

Supply list:  Patterned Paper: Lady Pattern Paper (Fency so Buff, Brush and Marx Dotty, Starry Night so Buff, Sassy Stars Red Pop, Script Dazzling Blue; Cardstock:  American Craft; Letter Stickers:  Pink Paislee Expressions, Wood Veneer:  My Minds Eye (By the Sea); Chipboard: Scrap Collections; Flair:  My Minds Eye (By the Sea); Enamel dots etc: My Minds Eye; Die cuts:  My Minds Eye (By the Sea); Twine: WeR Memory Keepers; Ink:  Distress Vintage Photo; Stencil: Celebr8; Other Mediums:  Finnabair Light Paste, Soft Matt Gel and Art Stones.

The CSI Scene:

This is how I solved the case file:
Scheme:  All colours used:

Evidence: Stripes, Sketchy pattern, beach, nautical elements, circles, wet medium, grainy art stones.

Testimony:  I documented a trip to the beach.

Some closse ups:
I cut the woodgrain paper into strips and distressed the edges before pasting it down on my white cardstock.  I also added some stenciling behind the photo.

I love the texture that the corrugated paper add to this page.  Actually this page is FULL of texture.

I added flair and some wood veneer pieces between the layers of my photo mat.

These large Pink Paislee letter stickers have been living in my stash for the longest good to see it down on a page.  I added some soft mat gel below the title and added some art stones to create a grainy, sandy effect.

I really enjoyed making this page.

Love all the texture and dimension.

Thank you for visiting my blog today...I hope you are inspired to play along with this challenge.♥♥
