I love right now - Felicity Jane (Alexis)/Lady Pattern - CSI 253

Hi there.  Today I want to share a page I made for the Color Story Inspiration case file 253.  I really love the fresh colours of the Scheme this time.  I combined some green and navy blue papers from the Lady Pattern Essentials papers with the FJ Alexis kit and I adore how vibrant it is.  What I love about the CSI challenges is that I am challenged to dig through my stash to find some of the the clues and other pretty embellishments that will fit the story I want to tell.  By now you know that my grandchildren love spending time with each other and time together at our home.  Here is my page of Stefan and Juan...best cousins and best friends.

Supply list: Patterned papers:  Felicity Jane, Lady Pattern Paper; Cardstock:; American Craft; Letter Stickers:  American Craft (Dear Lizzy); Flair:  Felicity Jane, Feed your Craft; Enamel dots:  Nuvo Crystal Drops (Midnight Blue); Rubber Charms:  Dear Lizzy;Die cuts:  Hip Kit Exclusives (Kim Watson; Ink: Tumbled glass; Stencil:  Tim Holtz.

The beautiful inspirational scene and sceme:

This is how I solved the case file:

Scheme:  All the colours used.

Evidence:  Solid cardstock, stripes, wonky dots, die cuts, circles, combine colorful patterns with a black and white pattern, metal flair and paper clip.

Testimony:  I chose to handwrite my journaling.  It reads:  "Stefan and Juan, you are best friends.  You never get tired of each other.  I hope your relationship will be like this forever and that you will remain cousins and best friends. xxOuma".

Some close ups:
I love using loads of layers and adding black and white between the colourful layers.

The two little houses were in a Hip Kit two years ago and I love how well it goes with this colour scheme.

The yellow Dear Lizzy chipboard thickers are the perfect title for this.

I have developed a bit of an addiction for Nuvo Crystal Drops and I love making my own enamel dots that perfectly match my layout.

I broke the white background with some Tumbled Glass Distress Ink stenciled through a Tim Holtz stencil.

Thank you for visiting my blog today...I hope you are inspired to play along with this challenge.♥♥
