High - Felicity Jane Alexis - CSI 251

Hallo there.  I am playing along with the latest CSI case file and the beautiful Felicity Jane Alexis kit is a perfect match to the pretty Scene and Scheme.

Supply list:  Patterned papers:  Felicity Jane Alexis; Cardstock:  American Craft; Letter Stickers:  American Craft (Charming); Flowers:  Celebr8; Brads: Making Memories; Enamel dots: Carta Bella; Die cuts: Felicity Jane Alexis; Embroidery Floss: DMC; Ink:  Distress Oxides (Worn Lipstick, Peacock Feathers); Mixed Media:  Finnabair Light Paste; Stencil: Felicity Jane Alexis; Stamps: 49 & Market; Felicity Jane.

As you know I am a great fan of Laura Whitaker's sketches:

A look at the scene and scheme of Case File 251:

I used the original way of solving the case file:

The Scheme:
All 5 colours used.

Solid background, circle, tiny brads, flower, texture paste, word and phrase stamps.

I used the title "High" and my journaling reads: "Over the years our neighbours always had the most interesting pets.  I have countless photos of you hanging over the wall to get a better view of the meerkat, chicken or other farm animals."

Some close ups:
I stamped the "the story"stamp onto the same cardstock that I used to mat the photos.  I then cut it out to add to the little cluster at the top left.  I stitched circles and added some mini brads from my stash. The words "the view" was stamped onto the photo.

I mixed some light paste with the two colours distress oxide and applied it through the Felicity Jane Alexis stencil.

The pink and blue flowers by Celebr8 were a perfect match to the papers in this kit.

I used one of the PL cards from the kit for my journaling.
I love the finished page and I love it even more that another memory is recorded.

Thank you for visiting my blog today ♥♥
