Believe - Felicity Jane (Heidi) - CSI248/Stuck

Hallo there.  I was thrilled to see that Stuck sketches have two sketches for their 15 February challenge.  I decided to combine the second sketch with the 15 February Color Story Inspiration challenge.  I decided that I will go more freestyle where the CSI challenge is concerned as I wanted to use the Felicity Jane Heidi kit and the colours aren't an exact match for the colour swatches in the I am allowing myself some creative license ;-)  Here is my page:

Supply list:  Patterned papers:  Felicity Jane (Heidi); Cardstock:  American Craft; Chipboard title:  Blue Fern Studios; Rubber heart charms:  Felicity Jane; Flair:  Felicity Jane; Enamel dots: Nuvo Crystal Drops (Ebony Black); Die cuts:  Felicity Jane (Heidi), Tassels:  Felicity Jane; Embroidery Floss: DMC; Mixed Media:  Wendy Vecchi embossing paste, Distress Ink (Tattered rose, worn lipstick); Stencil:  Prima; Border punch:  Fiskars:  Stamp:  Felicity Jane; Other:  Doily from stash.

Laura's beautiful sketch:

Colour Story Inspiration 248:
This is how I solved the case file:

The Scene:  I was inspired by the soft colours of the case file.
The Scheme:  I kept to the general soft feel of the scheme but replaced the green for teals.
Evidence:  Solid white background, floral patterns, hearts, flowers, leaves, string.
Testimony:  I chose one of the February prompts:  ""My biggest hope is..." and my journaling is a quote by Benjamin Spock:  "My greatest hope is to bring up children inspired by their opportunities for being helpful and loving."  Our life calling is to bring hope to the rejected, discarded and broken people in our has always been my dream that my children will in some way make a difference in the lives of people who have fallen on hard times.

Some close ups:
I mixed Distress Inks in Tattered Rose and Worn Lipstick into embossing paste and added it to the background through a Prima stencil.

The black and white flowers were fussy cut from an older Felicity Jane paper....I wish I can get another 20 pages of that pattern.

The chipboard title was heat embossed in Bright White WOW embossing powder...and the little tassels were first coloured with Prima Color Bloom Spray and then tied to the title.

The little Tim Holtz phrases are covering up a boo boo made with the Nuvo Crystal live and learn.

I am really happy with the end result.
