Wonder - Felicity Jane Mila - CSI 246

Hallo there.  Today I am sharing a page based on the Color Story Inspiration case file CSI246.  I challenged myself to use the Felicity Jane Mila kit and also follow the traditional clues of the case file.  I used a photo that I took in the Addo Elephant park when we visited it in December 2017.  Here is my page:

Supply list:  Patterned paper:  Felicity Jane (Mila); Cardstock:  Felicity Jane, American Craft; Letter Stickers: Hip Kit Exclusives; Flowers:  Little Birdie; Paper clips: Felicity Jane; Enamel dots: My minds Eye; Ink:  Distress Ink (Tumbled Glass); Stencil:  Celebr8; Stamps: Finnabair; Embossing powder: WOW (bight white); Embossing folders: Cuttlebug, Kaisercraft; Dies: Sizzix circle dies; Border punch: Fiskars.

The case file:
This is how I solved the case file:

The Scheme:  I used the five colours as close as I had in my stash.

Evidence:  Solid white background, swiss dot, stripes, floral pattern, swirls, hearts, flowers, border punch.

Testimony:  I used the title "Wonder" and my journaling reads as follows:  "We loved watching the juvenile elephants play in a watering hole at the Addo Elephant Park.  This youngster could possibly find an easier way out of the watering holebut that was  where he wanted to get out.  It reminds me a little of human toddlers that want their way.  One of the other youngsters came to his aid and pushed him up the embankment.  It really takes a village.

Some close ups:
I decided to bust out some embossing folders and some stamps to make my circle elements for this page.  I used white embossing powder on the stamped images....love the effect.  The little heart paper clips was also in the kit and was perfect to bring hearts into the page.

I added the brick red flowers and enamel dots into the mix to bring a vibrant element to the page.

The blue letter stickers that are exclusive to Hip Kits was the perfect match.

The layout would not be complete without the story.

I love how the page turned out and I love that I used some of my dies, stamps and embossing folders.

Thank you for visiting my blog today♥♥
