Life is sweeter in flipflops - Lady Pattern Good Times and Tan Lines

Hi there.  I am here to share another page that was created with the awesome new Lady Pattern collection, Good Times and Tan Lines.  My previous pages was made using the blues and greens.  This time I wanted to include pink.  Here is my page:

Supply list:  Patterned papers: Lady Pattern Good Times and Tan Lines Copacabana (kites), Good Times and Tan Lines One in a Melon (confetti), Good Times and Tan Lines Beach Vibes (Life is sweeter card), Basic Essentials Mermaid Tails Green Chartreuse and Intense Teal, Basic Essentials Dreamy Dots Pink Mary (stripes); Cardstock:  American Craft; Chipboard title:  Celebr8; Chipboard frame and shells:  Blue Fern Studios; Enamel dots: My Minds Eye; Embroidery Floss: DMC; Ink:  Tim Holtz Distress Ink (Antique Linen); Stencil: Scrapbook Studio; Other mediums: Lindy's Embossing powder, Finnabair Patina Paste, Finnabair Metallique Wax (vintage gold).

Some close ups:
I had a lot of fun playing with the Finnabair Patina paste and was amazed at how it transformed the chipboard elements.  I wanted the photos and patterned papers to take center stage and kept my embellishing to a minimum.
I cut a large circle that I hand stitched to compliment the circular element of the chipboard.  I love how the Basic Essentials so perfectly compliment this collection.

The blending of the ink to form the sun burst was an after though done when the page was complete and I found that "something"  was still missing.

I balanced my layout by adding strips of the same patterned papers to the bottom of the page.

A shot that shows the dimension of the page.  I love taking a shot like this with every page.

Thank you for visiting my blog today.  Do stock up on this beautiful Lady Pattern Paper at your local scrapbook store.  You will find them to be versatile and a staple you need in your stash. ♥♥
