Adventure - December 2016 Hip Kit

Hello there,  Today I am sharing a page I made some time ago and actually forgot to post.  I used the scraps of the December 2016 Hip Kit.  It is always a good feeling when you kill a kit 😍.  I scrapped a photo I took of Stefan and Juan playing in the dam on Wynand's small holding.

Supply list:  Patterned paper:  Pink Paislee (Paige Evans take me away), Hip Kit Exclusives; Cardstock:  American Craft; Foam letter sticker title: American Craft (wild); Clear Stickers: Pink Paislee (Memorandum); Enamel dots: My Minds Eye; Die cuts: Paige Evans (Take me Away); word phrases: Tim Holtz small talk; Embroidery Floss: DMC; Border punch: Fiskars; Cutting dies: Quickutz nesting circles and stars.

Some close ups:
I love the texture that is added with the stitching.

This colour palette was perfect for the photo.

Juan's muddy discarded shoes were put into the frame.

I used Gelatos to ombre my foam title.

It is wonderful to be able to get some good therapy through this paper art and at the same time document precious memories.

Thank you for visiting my blog today ♥♥

  3. oh this is a new fav, not sure why, perhaps the simple color scheme, the stitching and the natural unposed photo of boys having fun and being boys.. but anyways, I love this one!! Stars are always great on a boys page.. have a very Merry Christmas to you and yours and Gods Blessings overflowing in 2018..

  4. I love that our "therapy" yields such beautiful creations ... Love this page!!!!
