Sisters best friends - Prima Zella Teal

I was so blessed to be able to spend a few days with my youngest sister, Ansie, in Cape Town.  We don't see each other often enough and whenever I see my nephews they have grown so much that I feel that I am somehow missing out.  Anyhow...I bought the beautiful new Prima Zella Teal collection while on the road and this was the perfect moment to use the prettiness it contains.  Here is my page:

All the papers, flowers and chipboard are from the same collection.  The pretty chipboard alpha was a Hip Kit exclusive alpha and the colours were perfect for this page.

I used one of Laura's sketches:

Some close ups:
This is my absolute favourite colour and that was the reason why I just couldn't resist this collection.  I clustered the flowers and one can never have enough pretty flowers.  Just look at that pretty rubber XO embellishment

The Hip Kit Exclusive alphas were the perfect colour to use for the title.

I coloured some light modelling paste with some distress ink and then applied it through a stencil to break my white background and added another flower cluster to the bottom of the page.

I distressed the edges of my patterned papers and added some stitching for added interest.

I absolutely adore these doilies and love adding them behind my photos.  Another cluster at the right of the photo completes this layout and creates the visual triangle.

Thank you for visiting my blog today♥♥

  1. Hey special lady ... So glad you got to spend some time with your sister. Time sure is speeding past and we need to make every effort to see each other more.

OMGoodness!!!! Another absolutely AWESOME page. You have captured the photo beautifully ... all your elements work so perfectly together.

Again ... I just LOVE the doily and the textured paste gives your background an interesting texture.
