My Girl - Felicity ♥ Jane - Stuck sketches

Hallo there.  I have had to put my Travelers Notebook away so that I can concentrate on doing a couple of layouts again.  I subscribed to the Felicity Jane kits and I am absolutely thrilled with how pretty they are.  I decided to use the Felicity Jane Zoey kit to scrap a photograph of Leane using the latest Stuck Sketches challenge.  So here goes:

Supply list:  Patterned papers:  Felicity Jane Zoey kit:  Cardstock:  American Craft:  All embellishments:  Felicity Jane Zoey kit; Embroidery Floss: DMC; Stencil:  Celebr8; Ink:  Distress Ink (Spun Sugar and Scattered Straw);  Doily:  My stash

The sketch:

Some close ups:
I used a lot of the Zoey stamp set.  I never knew that I would love stamping on my layouts.

I broke the white background with a stencil and distressed inks that was applied with a blending tool through the stencil.

I fussy cut out the scallop from patterned paper and then did my usual signature style stitching.

Yup, I even stamped on my photo :)  The rose was also fussy cut from the patterned paper.

I just love how this page turned out.  I adore all the black and white papers on the B sides of the patterned papers.

Thank you so much for visiting my blog today ♥♥
