Cousins Best Friends - Scrapbook Studio

Today I am sharing the bonus layout I made for the Pretoria Silverlakes event.  The idea is that each of the ladies attending the event get enough product to complete this layout at home.  Here is the page:

Supplies used:  Patterned papers: Echo Park; Cardstock: American Craft; Letter stickers: Echo Park; Stickers: Echo Park; Wood veneer: Studio Calico; Chipboard: Celebr8; Embroidery Floss: DMC; Mist: Prima Color Bloom Sunshine; Stencil: The Crafters Workshop.

Some close ups:
...I outlined all my patterned papers to create separation between the different layers.

The background was misted with Color Bloom Sunshine spray through a Crafters Workshop stencil...love the shimmer.

I used a few stickers from the sticker sheet and also the alpha stickers.

...and some handstitching of course :-)

Thank you for visiting my blog today ♥

  3. Love this sketch and the mixture of patterned papers. The happy photos speak of childhood freedom in the great outdoors. Your trademark stitching adds a strong design element to balance the graphic lines. A new fave for me. :D

  4. They're getting longer legs and leaner bodies as they grow up way too quickly! Lovely page to celebrate the cousins' having fun together. I think my favest bit is the wood 'theme' and especially the stars. They look great in their 'raw' state here:):) And lovely to get enough 'goodies' in the class to do this when the girls' get home. That's VERY generous:)!!!
