Leane's "Frozen" birthday

Would you believe that my granddaughter turned 8?  I can't believe that time has flown so quickly.  Just yesterday I still hugged the soft toddler body and carried her around.

My little princess, with her hair curled for her special day.   My darling girl, you are beautiful inside and out.  I look at you and my heart want to burst with pride.  You are a soft and caring girl who always look out for the interests of children that are younger than you.  You sometimes act like a real mommy to your little brother Juan and your cousin Stefan.  Your mommy and daddy are so blessed to have you for an oldest child.

The cake with Olaf perched on top.

The party was held under the lapa...perfect party venue.  The beautiful cake pops were baked by their neighbour.

The table setting for the little girls.

Among her friends...you can see the awkward age between wanting to be big and still wanting to be a tomboy :)

 Surrounded by her little friends.

With the Pappa and the Mamma.

She will always be Pappa's only princess.

These girls know how to pose.

 Blowing out the candle.

Then it was on to the activity of the party...constructing Olaf from fondant.

 Busy little hands...

This one took a short cut and decided to give her Olaf a Niknak nose.

Leane's (nearly) completed Olaf.  We realised again that this activity is more suited to 10 year olds...but by then they wouldn't want to build an Olaf anymore.  Sad but true.

You will probably see these photos on a double page soon.  Thank you for your visit and for your love.

xx

  1. Wonderful looking party Lynette! Leane is so beautiful and happy, so glad she had a great time. I did notice the lack of boys, not even a cousin in sight!
