Jeffreys Bay event with Svetlana Austin (Part 1)

Nearly a month ago we had a three day scrap event in Jeffreys Bay where Svetlana Austin taught her style and techniques.  I have been blog buddies with Svetlana for many years and we shared in the highs and lows of life.  It was such a treat to finally meet her in real life and to learn the techniques that she uses.

We were a small group of ladies and really bonded during the three days.  I believe that we all have a love for family, scrapbooking and the Lord in common.

Svetlana is a wonderful teacher...and I would recommend her classes to anyone who has the opportunity to attend it.

The first class was a feminine layout.  I used a photo of Leane on my page.

Some close-ups:

Stamping, misting and gesso.

Clustering and layering

Loads of fussy cutting.

...and glitter to complete it all.

An awesome two page masculine layout with so much techniques and amazing texture.  The photos are of my youngest grandson Juan.

Some close-ups:
The perfect title for this rustic layout.

Getting the rusted technique just right.

Svetlana fussy cut the balloon for me ♥

Beautiful layers and texture.

What is not to love about all the awesome techniques.

Three days of scrapping and six classes in which we made so many beautiful projects.  I will share some of the others later next week.
xx
