Our Natal vacation in pictures (part two)

I am sharing the last of my photos of Natal with you today. .  We visited the Joseph Mabhida stadium and took the sky car to the top.  What a stunning structure.
The impressive structure where some of the 2010 football World Cup games took place.

On top of the structure.

We spent a day at the Ushaka Marine world.

The bottom of the ocean.

Do you like my seat in the restaurant?

The old ship with it's aquariums is supposed to resemble an upside down ship. Love the rusted look.

Then we locked up all our possessions in a locker and for the next two hours we played.  Hence no photos ;-) We could not get enough of all the rides and ended up doing the "viper" and "torpedo" repeatedly...we were like children, and I can highly recommend that.

Caught napping...a very tired Ricksha driver/puller.

We then departed Durban for the Natal South coast and spent a week at Uvongo.
The beautiful Uvongo main beach with its river and waterfall.

Taken from the bridge over the river,,,the view towards the main beach.

The sand art at Margate beach on the day of the clash between the Bulls and the Sharks :-P

Margate beach is beautiful at sunset.

Taken from the deck at Larry's Restaurant...full moon.

Larry's have little wooden plaques that people have their names engraved on...these plaques are everywhere, on the walls and hanging from the roof up to just above your head.

We searched for and found the one that Wynand and Nadia had made while on their honeymoon in 2008.

We visited Mac Banana...where all food (sweet and salt) are served in pancakes.  Their gardens are magical.

What I would do for a garden that looks like this.

Seen in Southbroom.

Kobus spent a day playing this lovely golf course.

Isn't it beautiful?

This dog gives new meaning to guarding the house.

Another amazing sand sculpture.

After two weeks of rest we were ready to go back home...

...and this little man was very happy to have his Oupa home.

Thank you for allowing me to share my special moments.

xx
