Motherhood - CSI137

Where has time gone?  I simply cannot believe that it has been a week since my last post.  I have planned to do an update post about "life right now" this week...but the time simply slipped away and I had no time. I have so much to share...I do hope that this weekend will allow me the time to actually write a post.   I am, however, ready for the audit on Monday and B will be the one running around and supplying them with documents that they require...time to pass the baton on this one ;-)

This week's  Color Story Inspiration (CSI) case file is a very pretty one and I do hope that you will play along.  This is my last case file as "special deputy" for August.  I used an old photo of Nadia with a 5 month old Lukas.  He looks nothing like his baby photos these days.  Here is my take on the challenge:
Supply list:  Cardstock: American Craft; Patterned papers: My Minds Eye (The Sweetest Thing); Flowers: Prima: Stickers: My Minds Eye (The Sweetest Thing); Brads: My Minds Eye; Bees: K&CO; Title and turkish bits: Silhouette Cameo; Other: Texture paste, Prima triangle mask, ribbon and bee charm.

Here is the case file:
Here is how I solved the case file:

The Scheme:  All there.

Evidence:  polka dots, metal (little bee charm), label (date), triangles.

Testimony:  I wrote a little poem on Motherhood

 "No one will ever know
the strength of my love for you.
After all, you are the one
who knows what my heart
sounds like from the inside."

I used this patterned paper for the background and added texture paste through a "triangles" Prima mask.  To make the triangles more visible I used a pen and traced the outlines.

These little dimensional bees have been in my stash for the longest time.  They are so cute and are from K&Co.

This line of paper don't have the orange colour...so I added the orange flower, ribbon and cut my title from matching orange cardstock.

Thank you for visiting and leaving love.  Be sure to check out the awesome layouts by the design team on CSI HERE.
