The latest challenge has gone live on the Scrap Africa blog. Today's challenge is "White with a pinch of" and is about creating a project that is 90% white and 10% any other colours. I got out my Silhouette Cameo and set about creating a white on white background. Here is my layout:
Some close ups:
I cut the 8 cards to give some dimension to my background. I also cut the branch with the Silhouette and painted the hearts and dipped it in red glitter before "hanging" them from the branch.
I added some glossy accents around the edge of the doily and then covered it with tiny microbeads. I also found the hessian in my stash and added it behind the photo for some more texture.
I stencilled some Crushed Coral Texturez by Shimmerz through the whimsical hearts template and then just edge the one side with some dark pink Neocolor crayon before dabbing it with a wet paintbrush. The little leafy swirl is also cut with the silhouette.
I finished it off with this simple Silhouette cut title.
