A quick post

I have been a bit preoccupied lately. DH's oldest brother passed away on Saturday night and we are flying to Johannesburg tomorrow morning at 6:35am. The funeral is at 11o'clock near Bronkhorst Spruit.  I still don't know how I am going to wake up early enough to be at the airport an hour before takeoff.  I will probably be sleepwalking.

My little princess turned 6 this month and her birthday was held at Kiddy Lovers.  She is in Grade R this year.  It feels as if she was born yesterday...time flies.

She is a wild one...this girl of mine.

As you can see :-D

Sidesaddle?

On Sunday morning we went for a drive from Sardinia Bay to Van Stadens.

It was shocking to see the oil slick that has spread all the way from Knysna.

The Van Stadens Wind farm with it's 9 wind turbines are coming along.

Will be back again soon.
xoxo

And the kids - it is always a joy! Happy birthday to the little princess! Hellion! Ha ... at her age, I also enjoyed playing with the boys in football. It is unfortunate that clog up ocean. How to prevent it?

  5. Oh I am so sorry for your loss :( What wonderful photos you have captured yet again. Leanne is surrounded by a lot of boys which probably explains her tomboyish nature, but she is very pretty!!

  9. Prayers of peace for you and your family.
I think I may have been trying to catch my child rather than take photos...
I've taken to the philosophy "what I can't see can't freak me the hell out" and walk away with a fixed barbie-doll smile from whatever it is she's hanging upside down from.
I do this because I did EXACTLY the same thing and have lived, mostly unscathed, to tell the tale... which means, so will Bunny.
The spot looks awesome though, and the play things look great.

Your princess is so sweet. She reminds me of my daughter when she was little. Always wanted to play with the boys and do wild things. :)
