Too Cute - Scrap Africa - My Minds Eye (Follow your Heart)

Hi Friends, it is time to reveal the next sketch challenge at Scrap Africa.  I used this cute photo of Stefan when he was still a tiny baby.  I want to remember how he pulled is bottom lip and his eyes became so sad just before he started crying.

Supply list:  Cardstock: American Craft; Patterned papers: My Minds Eye (Follow your Heart); Buttons and brads: My Minds Eye (Follow your Heart); Chipboard lace: My Minds Eye (Sweetest Thing Bluebell); Alphabet: American Craft; Cute Title: Silhouette.
Just look at those dainty cuts that the Silhouette makes.
Here is proof that a mistake can be fixed.  I made a mistake in my journaling and just covered it with a little arrow.
A sprinkle of buttons and a circle with stitching completes the picture.

Here is the sketch by Evgenia.

As always, we have a goodies bag up for grabs from Fabscraps.
A random winner will be chosen.

You have until the 14th March to submit your projects.

I came across one of my posts that for some reason I forgot to post.  It was the Scrap Africa "hearts" challenge that I hosted on 14 February.  Here is the layout I made for it.

Supplies used:  Cardstock:  Bazzill; Patterned papers: American Craft (Dress code); Jillibean Soup(Gray salt); Alpha: October Afternoon (Midway); Heart Die cut:  Daniella Dobson free download; Butterflies and hearts: Silhouette; Pearls: Fabscraps.

Beautiful cuts  with the Silhouette and I love this alphabet.
I spread some glossy accents inside the hearts and then sprinkled micro beads over it.
This beautiful die cut was designed by Daniela Dobson and can be downloaded on her blog. I stitched around the edges of some hearts and then sprinkled micro beads over glossy accents inside some of the hearts.

Thank you for visiting my blog.  Have a lovely day.

xx
