Today is worth Remembering - Crate Paper (Farmhouse Collection)

I love making double page layouts...the reason being that often we have events in our lives that need more than just a one page layout. I made quite a few layouts of our home cell's trip to the Baviaanskloof.  I made them all using Crate Paper (Farmhouse Collection) and Allison Davis sketches.

Supply list:  Cardstock: Bazzill; Printed papers: Crate Paper (Farmhouse Collection); Punch: March Stewart; Ribbon: My Minds Eye (Stella and Rose); Flowers: Prima; Chipboard gears: Enmarc; Sketch: Allison Davis.
Here is a close up of one cluster...
...and another.

Here is two more layouts I did of the same event...when we stopped for coffee near the Cockscomb Mountain.
...and when we stopped to stretch our legs at one of the dams:
Initially I was a bit hesitant to use this kit...because of it's "loud" colours...but I am happy with how it turned out.

  13. Beautiful layouts is always Lynette. I always find looking at your blog so inspirational. I love how you made the quilt out of papers in the first layout. However my very favorite thing is how you stitched some of the hexagons together in the last layout. It's a little thing that you don't even mention doing, but I love it. So often is those little things that make a layout.

  15. Great pages--I esp. love the one with the repeating squares, as well as the one with repeating hexagons. Those two designs seem like a great method of using up lots of little scraps in a very pretty way.
