A race of a different kind:-)

All the photos in this post was taken by Nadia's sister Merissa. Whenever Lukas visits his maternal grandma, he searches for snails in her garden.
He has no trouble touching them.
A typical little boy, he tries to play with them as he would with cars.
Let the race begin!
...and they are off!
Delightful!
My favourite shot!  Boys and their toys?

Disclaimer:  No snails were harmed in the shooting of these pics;-D

  1. Oh my goodness Lynette. I can't say I've ever seen snails so big and out of their shells. The few that I have seen would hide in their shells. Lukas is definitely a typical boy wanting to play with something like a snail. Mine have always likes toads and frogs....

  3. Ha...snails. We don't have these in Illinois well that I have seen. When I was a little girl though we lived in California and my brogher and I loved to play with the snails. These photos are way way way to adorable not to scrapbook...hint hint. :)

    great post.

  18. Greetings, love the shots and the snails. Wish I had had a digital camera when Caleb was that age.
He would put them in his room in a cardboard box - without a lid and they would wander off...he could never understand why they didn't love being his pets as much as he loved touching them.
