Christmas day

We had a gorgeous Christmas day at Ansie and Willie's home in Somerset West.  All the family came and we were 24 people.  It was the usual cold meats and salads...and naturally trifle and pavlova for desert.  We ate way to much and we were all very lazy after a lengthy lunch.

Kobus and I.

My sister Anita and her husband Colin.

The newly weds.  My sister Herlien and her husband Mark.

Youngest sister Ansie and her husband Willie.
My mom and dad.

We are five girls but my one sister lives in Australia.  Here is the four SA sisters.

I just had to share this photo of the beautiful Christmas cupcakes with you.  Shayne are they not the most gorgeous things out?  Here are a few close ups.

We had such a pleasant day with the family...I hope yours were as special.

  3. Firstly stunning photo's, love the cupcake one, so clear and colorful.
I think I need to stretch my blog page as photo's look better when in stretch mode.

Your sister in Australia must be so sad that the was not able to be in that photo with you all...makes me feel sad as I know its always ME who is far away from my family.

Sounds like a lovely Christmas, my children are all in Somerset West today at my daughters house for a braai, hope the wind was not blowing as she wanted the children to play outside.

Lynette, you look beautiful on the picture with you and hubby.

  12. Stefanie...I don't think the colour co-ordination was deliberate...I only noticed it after you mentioned it...now is that not random?
